New Year

Silly girl will take her bottle any way she can get it.
I bought her this baby gate to keep her in one area, but here she looks like she is in baby jail.

She enjoys sitting in this chair to eat. She is always smiles when the spoon is coming her way.

For Halloween she was a love bug. Too bad she couldn't sit up in her costume. The costume weighed her down so she had to be held the entire night.

I just learned how to knit beanies and scarfs, using my Knifty Knitters of course!! Here are my first two tries at knitting. Farrah gets to model them. :)

Wow!! It has been a crazy couple months. Not only have I been unable to keep up on my blog, but my office is in complete shambles because I rarely enter this room anymore and am very rarely on the computer when I come home from work. All my time is spent playing with Farrah.

Let's play catch up.

August-October
I was called the first day of school to be a long term sub back at McFarland Middle School. I went from teaching 8th grade US History and ELD to US History and PE. Then I was moved over to teach 7th grade English and ELD. CRaZY!!!

October-till the end of the school year
I was offered a contract to teach In School Suspension!!! I gladly took it, and just a side note, Prayers really do work and I am sooo thankful for everyone who prayed for me to get a more permanent job. Actually the job is until the end of the school year, but it is a job none the less. I get the opportunity to teach 6-8th grade, and all subject areas. The students I deal with are those that may have a hard time following the rules or getting along with other students or teachers. I enjoy my job. I get to do lots of one on one teaching, and I don"t get to see the same kids every day. Some days I have a full class, such as 20, and other days I only get 2-3 students. I get to coordinate with other teachers on their lessons and help or emphasize their lessons in my class. THe down side is that I have to be a very strict and somewhat mean teacher. I am used to joking around with my students, but in this class, there is no joking around. So far it's working. I have herad some students call me some unthinkable names. Does that mean I am on the right track?? HAHA!!

My cute as a button Princess Queen!!! FARRAH
Time flies by fast with a little baby in the house. I have watched her grow into an incredible cute little big girl. She has overcome some big milestones. She never once scooted on her belly. She went from sitting up to crawling in just a few weeks. Now she is unstoppable. She crawls every where! She is sooo fast too. She really knows how to move her legs and arms to get away fromme and to chase the dog. She has also started to try and walk. She can stand herself up but the moment she takes a step, down she goes. She is also a tough little one. She has fallen numerous times and has cried a bit but then just stops and keeps on going with her business. She has a hard head like her daddy! :)
She has come to the point where she enjoys screaming as loud as she can where ever we are. These are of course screams of joy and happiness. I laugh, but sometimes I have to say I am pretty embarassed because she also likes to spit at people too. I did not teach her that. Her bottom teeth are coming in so she has been in some pain. She drools and wakes up at 2 in the morning, every morning. I need some sleep!!! Other than that she has been such a blessing to us.
